Saint Petersburg named the Museum Capital of Russia

According to the study, around 50% of those questioned said that they considered Saint Petersburg the best city for visiting museums. The most popular of them were the Hermitage, Russian Museum and Peterhof.

Second place in the ratings went to the capital, with 25% of those polled voting for Moscow. They particularly noted the Pushkin Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery and the museums of the Moscow Kremlin. The list continued with Nizhny Novgorod that got 6% of the votes, then Yaroslavl, Vladimir and Veliky Novgorod with 4% each. The top ten concluded with Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Pskov and Sevastopol, all with 2%.
