The Restauro Salon in Ferrara concludes its work

Victor Anatolyevich Korobov and Kamilla Burkhanovna Kalinina spoke about the results of the technical and technological study and restoration of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio’s painting The Lute Player. Tatyana Anatolyevna Sabianina, Darya Anatolyevna Smirnova and Valentina Galliyulovna Masurova presented various restoration projects involving works of graphic art on a paper support.

Throughout the day the Hermitage stand offered master classes on the Russian mosaic technique, during which Alexander Alexandrovich Androkhanov demonstrated the capabilities of the historical technique of Russian mosaic in the creation and restoration of a mosaic finish from lapis lazuli and malachite.
