Agreement signed on the creation of a design project for the way-finding system in the General Staff of the State Hermitage (the Rossi Wing)

The agreement was signed by Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage, Herber Seevinck, managing director of Mijksenaar BV, and Victoria Dokuchayeva, the director of the Hermitage XXI Century Foundation.

The Dutch firm Mijksenaar won an international competition for designers of way-finding systems for the General Staff (Rossi Wing). The competition, held in September – December 2015 was organized by the Hermitage XXI Century Foundation at the request of the State Hermitage. Companies based in Russia and Europe that specialize in internal way-finding systems for exhibition centres, museums and airports were invited to participate. An important criterion for the State Hermitage jury’s choice was experience of appraising and optimizing internal way-finding systems.
