The centre of the composition is occupied by a horseman on a white horse, adorned with a laurel wreath and a crown, holding a rod in his left hand. He is accompanied by foot soldiers with a Standard bearing the image of a double-headed eagle. Above the horseman’s head, a staff with an escutcheon in the centre of the laurel wreath is visible. The escutcheon bears the letters"RO". A mountainous landscape with trees and a castle are shown in the middle distance. The wide border depicts allegorical female figures and hunting scenes placed in cartouches and arches. The subject of the tapestry is unknown, nor is the artist of the cardboard designs.
